About Kendall Tavern Inn Bed and Breakfast

Built in the early 1800s The Kendall Tavern Inn has been welcoming travelers on and off for almost 200 years. Located on Main Street in a historic residential area away from the hustle and bustle of downtown, you can take a short walk to Freeport Village where you will find 24 hour a day shopping at LL Bean and over 100 other shops and restaurants. Kendall Tavern Inn is just 15 miles north of Portland Maine and 10 minutes south of Brunswick Maine, home of Bowdoin College. Within driving distance to Boothbay Harbor, Rockland, Camden and all of mid-coast Maine, this Freeport inn is the perfect spot to experience two centuries of history with all the amenities of today including a three course breakfast. For those who'd rather not go unplugged, new flat screen TV’s with DVDs and streaming video in every room allow you to keep connected. If you’d rather watch the world go by, rest on our New England style porch complete with Adirondack chairs or relax in our library or living room. Allow us to help you with your experience.
