Situated in an unbeatable spot, right on the water’s edge, La Promenade Waterfront Apartments is a modern property offering self catering accommodation with sweeping views out over the bay.
All the apartments feature two bedrooms, separate living/dining areas, a fully equipped kitchen and private terraces with incredible views over the water. They can accommodate up to four people.
The complex has a small pool which is the perfect spot to take a quick refreshing dip. Most units include free undercover parking right on site.
Those who prefer not to use their fantastic kitchens to cook up a storm themselves will find a host of great dining options on the nearby Esplanade, including Alfie’s Mooo Char & Bar, the place to go for the best grilled fare and drinks.
The area’s gorgeous beaches start just a few hundred yards from La Promenade, with renowned Kings Beach being 0.8 miles away.
Guests were very happy indeed with the location of the apartments. Many reckoned that once they had parked their car in the garage they barely needed it again. They found great restaurants, supermarkets and of course excellent beaches, so nearby it was easy to walk to them.
Terrific view over Pumicestone Passage
This was undoubtedly what most impressed guests about the property, and was perhaps the main reason for booking here. Guest after guest waxed lyrical about the gorgeous views over the water, which were said to be especially good from the upper level apartments.
Friendly and helpful owners
Considering that this is an apartment rental, rather than a B&B or boutique hotel guests were very impressed with the level of engagement displayed by the owners, Michael and Kerry. They were said to be very professional, but still friendly and very helpful when it cane to ensuring that their guests had all they needed.
Could be a little noisy
There were guests who complained about their apartment being a bit noisy, with traffic and garbage trucks seeming to be the main culprits. There are indications that this might affect one side of the building more than the other, so light sleepers are advised to discuss room assignments beforehand.
Pool is very small
Some guests did not like the very small pool. They seemed to feel that it was only good to refresh oneself after a long hot day, but that it really wasn't big enough for anything as dramatic as swimming.
One bedrooms more like studios
A number of guests in what were described as one bedroom apartments reported that there was no door or screen between the bedroom and living room, so they felt they should have been described as studio apartments.
