The rooms feature simple décor and furniture, but are well-equipped. Each features flat screen TV, fast Wi-Fi, coffee maker, work desk, telephone, hairdryer, alarm clock and clothes iron. While leisure travelers will be drawn to the sparkling indoor pool and hot tub, those on business will appreciate having the fully equipped business center and meeting rooms at their disposal. There’s also a fitness center for those keeping in shape, and ample on-site parking for all. La Quinta’s basic “Bright Side Breakfast” is served daily, with the addition of hot foods such as omelets and sausages. There are a couple of chain restaurants nearby, including an Applebee’s and a Denny’s. Visalia is giant sequoia country, with the amazing Sequoia National Park just 39 miles drive from the hotel.
Guests really seemed to like the location of the hotel. It was said to be right off the highway, making it easy to find and convenient when traveling. Guests also said it was reasonably central, and that they had no problem finding good shopping and dining nearby.

While it's always difficult for hotels to get this just right, several guests felt that the pool had too much chlorine in it. It tended to burn their eyes and skin a bit and made them reluctant to use the pool.
