Positive Reviews
positive:
Very comfortable mattresses
Some guests credited the fact that they were pillowtop's, but whatever the reason they were certainly happy with how comfortable the mattresses were. There were very few complaints about the mattresses indeed, a very unusual state of affairs. Due to simple differences in preferences it is usually hard to actually select a mattress with broad appeal. It seems the bed buyers here might have succeeded.
positive:
Decent shopping and restaurants nearby
While guests didn't exactly rave about the shopping and dining nearby, they did say that it was adequate. They found that they could grab a decent bight to eat and get some basic shopping dome without having to travel far.
positive:
Remarkably quiet
The hotel was described as close to the interstate, but not so close that the noise of the cars passing by was excessively bothersome. In fact, many guests were surprised by how quiet their rooms were at night.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Very noisy ice makers
While only mentioned a couple of times, some guests found that the ice machines out in the hallways were a bit loud. Some of those unfortunate enough to have a room near one complained that the noise of the ice dropping was loud and would startle them at night.
negative:
Outside looks a bit run-down
While guests were more or less satisfied with the interior of the hotel, several mentioned that the outside looked very run down. It did not give them a good first impression of the hotel, and they felt it needed a lot of work to get it to look in tip top shape again.
negative:
Pervasive smell of tobacco smoke
Many guests mentioned smelling tobacco smoke throughout the building - in non-smoking rooms, hallways and other public areas. They felt that any non-smoking policies, such as they were, were not being enforced.
