Guests say that the La Quinta Inn Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport is in a great location right off the freeway and just a few minutes from the airport. They said that the free airport shuttle was a very convenient and reliable service as it got them to the airport in time for their flight and also picked them up in a timely manner.
Several guests said that beds and pillows in the rooms were superbly comfortable. They said that the hotel nailed the three ‘Cs', convenient, clean and comfortable. They felt that the value for the money they got was unbeatable.
Guests found the staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a tasty affair with a good variety. Guests appreciated the continuous flow of coffee and drinks.
Although guests liked the big flat screen TVs in the rooms, they said there was a very limited TV channel selection to view. The air-conditioning units were in dire need of servicing as guests said that the units shook and rattled and caused a lot of noise. Even the fridges in some of the rooms appeared very old and buzzed so loud that guests had to unplug the unit so they could grab some sleep.
The hotel does not have a late Check-out facility which guests find strange as the hotel relies on airport trade. Guests with late evening flights have no choice but to Check-out at midday owing to this policy.
Guests said that the Internet speed was slow at nights but fast only early in the mornings. They said that the hotel needs to beef up their Wi-Fi system in order to provide an uninterrupted connection.
