The hotel sits directly on the River's Edge. If you enjoy beautiful nature, biking, and taking a nice stroll, this hotel will be on your return list. They have bikes to use for free and there is a dog park in between the hotel and the Missouri River. The bike path easily goes for a couple of miles along the park. Take the time to enjoy the eateries, the fish hatchery, Lewis and Clark center, children's museum, and more.
The interior design of the facility is attractive and modern. The shower pressure is superb and the room furnishings are lovely. The bed is comfortable and cleanliness is above standard.
If your room is on the same side as the traffic, you will probably have a hard time sleeping. Not only that, the soundproofing of the hotel is of low quality. You can easily hear visitors in the other rooms and the hallway. The hotel is heavily booked on weekends with high school sports team, which means plenty of noise. If you don't want to bother with the fuss, booking on weekends should be avoided.
The reception is a bit shady. Of course, this may not be all the time; however, don't be surprised if you encounter “the look” when asking for assistance.
Though the hotel is above standard as far as cleanliness is concerned, they do manage to skip a few places. A lack of vacuuming, like around the edges of the hotel room, appears to be the spoiler.
