The staff members are said to be friendly according to most guests who felt the staff was patient enough to help them get around the city. If there were complaints for the rooms, they would try to come to a conclusion that satisfied both parties.
Most guests felt the hotel was a lovely place to stay in and thought it was a good value for them. The rooms were cleaned, they were in a great location and the free daily coffee or tea beverages were a nice treat.
The hotel is located in a central area of Melbourne and therefore it was very near restaurants, shops and other leisure activities. It is also close to the university and plenty of public transportation choices. It is in the Chinatown area of the city.
The size of the rooms are found to be too small for more than two people. They felt the space could have been better for people traveling as a family. They also felt the facilities in the rooms were too basic.
Some guests thought the rooms looked a bit dated and tired-looking for their tastes. They felt the décor could use a second look by management to update it and the bathrooms as well. Some found the showerheads not working properly.
