The star amenity, and where guests spend most of their time, is the gorgeous wood deck, the perfect place to sit back and enjoy the serene atmosphere. Breakfast is freshly prepared every day and delivered to guest’s rooms so they can enjoy it as they please. The lake is just steps away and the hosts can set you up with kayaks or canoes to allow you to explore it and maybe do a spot of fishing. Those looking to visit the attractions in Old Quebec will find the walled city approximately 16 miles from Le Domaine du Lac Saint Charles.

It was rare to come across a review that did not compliment the hosts in some way. They were described as very friendly and helpful, and seemed to really make their guests feel at home during the time they spent at the B&B.
Despite what it might look like on a map, guests insisted that the location of the B&B was actually very good for people wanting to visit the walled city of Old Quebec. They reported that while it might look far, in reality the road system meant they could get into the city in no time at all - 20 minutes seemed to be the general consensus
Guests were very impressed with the breakfast prepared by one of the hosts, Sophie, every morning. They reported that they got to choose between sweet or salty options, with both coming in for quite a bit of praise form various guests.
Many guests were quite shocked to discover that the B&B, despite being so close to the lake, actually does not have proper lake views. It seems that other properties obscure the view, which was a big disappointment to some guests.
A number of guests really missed having the ability to make themselves a quick cup of tea or coffee in the privacy of their own room.
Guests mentioned that there was no Wi-Fi on the premises. It was thought that it might not have been installed due to health/radiation concerns the owners have, but whatever the reason, some guests did find its absence a bit inconvenient.
