If you would like to see the city but don't feel like paying for public transport, you could always take the free bicycles the hotel offers. This facility will also get you to the beach quicker and easier. A great advantage is that you can do sightseeing at your own pace on a bicycle.
The location of this hotel makes it very convenient for you to get around easily. There is public transport that runs past the hotel if you're wanting to go somewhere further than walking distance. You will find the beach only a couple of blocks away and many restaurants nearby.
Guests have complained that the prices of the drinks that are served in the on-site bar are too high. Although there are many choices around the area to go have a drink, it would be nice if the on-site bar was a reasonable choice when deciding where to go.
Having thin walls on the interior of this hotel only means that your neighbors will be able to hear what you're doing and visa versa. This hotel is not very soundproofed and could do with better insulation. The hotel can become quite noisy at night when you are trying to sleep.
Although Le Meridien Delfina Santa Monica Hotel is a boutique hotel, guests have still found the pool to be too small and often crowded. This is an important part of the hotel that should be properly equipped to deal with every guest.
