It was rare to read a review that did not praise the staff in some way. It was often mentioned that they were both welcoming and friendly, not unimportant characteristics in a city as bustling as Mexico City. But what most seemed to impress guests was their knowledge of the neighbourhood and their city and their willingness to share this with guests.
Guest in rooms higher up in the building were clearly the happiest of all. Many lucky enough to be allocated such rooms loved being able to gaze over the city, day or night, feeling on top of the world while doing so.
Too many guests to mention brought up the indoor pool in their review, saying that they especially appreciated the ability to head down there for a quick refreshing dip when the city may have really taken it out of them.
Most guests were not at all happy with the onsite fitness centre, saying it was much too small for the number of guests the hotel accommodates. It seemed to them that it had been put in as an afterthought, without much consideration, and was simply not adequate.
Although they were not exactly said to be tired, guests did identify an issue here and there with their room decor. Considering the class of hotel, they felt that the rooms could do with a quick refresh, so as to get them looking at the top of their game again.
Guests were not simply astonished that they had to pay for Wi-Fi in this day and age, but when notified of the cost, were flabbergasted with how expensive it was.
