The hotel is centrally located in the French Quarter, so guests can enjoy the diverse nightlife on Bourbon Street and peruse the many shops and galleries on Royal Street, both of which are only a block away. Guests like the fact that the Museums District, the popular Café du Monde and the riverfront Woldenberg Park can also be reached in less than 20 minutes.
Guests enjoyed the small heated saltwater pool located in the hotel's cozy and private courtyard, where guests can take a dip or relax in one of the comfortable lounge chairs.
Guests liked the many amenities provided by the hotel, as a stay includes a free continental breakfast, a welcome drink, bottled water, Wi-Fi, a small gym and a lively bar.
While the hotel is in a quiet location overall and guests in courtyard-facing rooms told of completely peace and quiet even at night, some guests facing the streets complained of hearing a lively crowd until the early morning hours. If you want to ensure a good night's sleep, get a courtyard room or bring some ear plugs.
With this being a five-story hotel, most guests would love to have an elevator available, but the hotel's only one was reported to be extremely slow, to the point of several guests opting to walk up and down the stairs to their floors.
While most guests absolutely loved the comfort and space of their rooms, a few guests found the vents in the bathrooms to be inefficient and would have preferred a microwave and refrigerator in their rooms.
