Brantôme, one of the most impressive villages of Périgord (considered to be the Venice of Périgord), will help you discover the heart of the Dordogne and its many charms as well as its cultural and natural wealth. The postcard scenery is breath-taking: the Abbey Mill is alongside the river and offers an impressive panoramic view of Brantôme as well as onto the Jardin des Moines garden, the river, the Pont Coudé bridge and the Abbey that was founded in 769 by Charlemagne. An idyllic setting in a unique environment! The hotel establishment – beautiful charming property – is a member of the Relais et Châteaux since it’s reconversion to a hotel in the 80’s. The hotel offers you a journey throughout the local gastronomy from Périgord. It’s gourmet one-star Michelin restaurant and it’s terrace as well as its two close by bistros : Fil du temps and Fil de l’eau, will enable you to taste typical and delightful dishes.
