This hotel comes well up to the standard expected of the brand, and many compliments were paid to the staff and their attitude towards clients. The location was safe, although in a slightly down market area, the establishment is situated next to the police station, hence pretty safe! Being within fifteen minutes of downtown Little Rock is convenient.
Rooms were found to be clean and provided with comfortable beds. Guests who checked in late were pleased to be accommodated with a room quickly and efficiently. Where there was only a smoking room available it was found that it was fresh and clean with no odor from smoking.
The breakfast was well liked, being well presented with hot and cold choices as well as hot coffee: supplies kept up well with the demands of guests. The reception provided guests with a list giving directions to local restaurants, something that guests found both novel and useful.
The bathroom had a sticky floor and a glass shelf that was coming off the wall. On a number of occasions guests experienced blocked toilets, leaking sinks and problems with the television.
Guests were disappointed by a room with a mildewy smell, and curtains that failed to close all the way, letting in the floodlighting from outside.
The hotel has benefited from a program of refurbishment fairly recently nevertheless there do seem to be some ongoing maintenance problems here, as experienced by several guests. Generally the staff are friendly and helpful, giving a good service to guests.
