The pool deck was unquestionably guest’s favorite feature of the hotel. Many guests were in fact shocked by how lovely it was. There are two pools and the standard sun beds, but it was the design and addition of some palms that made guests really turn their heads.
Again and again guests would say how wonderful the staff were. They were said to offer a warm and genuine welcome to weary travelers just arriving and interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner that made them easy to approach.
The three restaurants that serve lunch and dinner were highly praised. Guests said they offered great cuisine in lovely surroundings and they did not feel they needed to leave the hotel to eat very well.
There were many complaints about noise, both from inside the building and outside. The hotel was said to be on a pretty busy street and the windows were not sufficiently soundproof to block out the sound of the cars passing by. Guests also mentioned that they could hear sounds from adjacent rooms quite easily.
Guests mentioned that the breakfast let the hotel down a bit by being the most disappointing of the meals. It was unclear precisely what the problems were, but one issue mentioned was that it didn’t have enough variety to satisfy a wide range of tastes.
