Situated close to the ski resorts of Summit County, but suitable for all seasons, Luxury Inn & Suites Silverthorne offers simple, but comfortable, accommodation in the heart of the Rockies. The rooms are fairly simply decorated. Air conditioning, flat screen TV’s with cable channels and telephones are just some of the many room amenities. The indoor pool and hot tub is a guest favorite at any time of year, while winter guests will be able to make use of a free shuttle bus to the incredible five nearby ski resorts. A limited number of pet-friendly rooms are available. A simple complimentary breakfast is served every morning. There are a wide variety of restaurants in the area for the other two meals, ranging from fast food chains to gourmet fine dining establishments. The attractions of Summit County range from some of the best skiing in the country in winter to excellent mountain biking in the warmer months.

Guests were pretty much in complete agreement that the suites were excellent value for money. They felt that they received a very reasonable room-rate for a decent room that was close to both the skiing and practical amenities.
Guests felt that they were excellently located for winter skiing. While there are no slopes within walking distance, there’s a free shuttle that would take them to any of five fantastic slopes in just a few minutes.
Again and again guests would remark how clean their room was on check in. They also believed that housekeeping did an excellent job keeping it in tip top shape during the course of their stay.
It was hard to find a kind word written about the breakfast. Guest after guest mentioned that it was simply not varied enough to allow them to construct a breakfast they really enjoyed. The longer they stayed at the resort, the more monotonous it became. Guests also mentioned lack of availability due to some guests removing popular items from the breakfast room for consumption later.
It is clear that the breakfast room is not big enough to accommodate all the guests at the Inn. Guests mentioned that they would load their plate and then search in vain for a seat to enjoy their food, especially when the property was fully booked.
The décor was said to be a bit out of fashion. Guests didn’t feel that the function of the rooms was compromised, but said that it had clearly been some time since they had last been renovated.
