Mango Lodge Gambia

Mango Lodge is an oasis in the centre of a real African Community in Brufut. Outside the children chatter as they go to school and the brightly dressed women go to market or to collect water. Inside our secure compound a sense of calm surrounds you in the tropical garden with swimming pool and bar area. Our round house - designed like a one from the rural areas of The Gambia is a secluded lodge, with king sized bed and en-suite shower room with hot water. Our rooms in the lodge are large, airy and comfortable - all with en-suite shower and hot water. Our restaurant serves breakfast, pool-side snacks and dinner. We serve a range of western food and local dishes. Our local staff are very knowledgeable and will do anything to make your stay with us a real experience of African life balanced with time spent relaxing in our lovely grounds. There is plenty to see and do close to our Lodge. Brufut woods are renowned for bird watching. The beach is just 6 minutes walk through the middle of an active community. Real Africa on your doorstep.
