There is no on-site parking at the hotel and you will need to use the valet parking if you have with a car. A number of travellers were annoyed with this policy as the hotel basically forces those with a car to pay for parking.
The area directly around the hotel is a bit boring according to some guests who point out that the nearest beach is about a 15 minute walk away. There are some shops and restaurants that can be reached in ten minutes or so on foot as well, but travellers note that options are limited.
A few visitors were unimpressed by the lack of menu items found at the hotel's on-site dining establishment, SALT Restaurant and Bar. While the food is good, some guests note that there isn't a whole lot of options to choose from.
