Guests could enjoy spending their free time in one of the two on-site bars which have been described as well-appointed and having a pleasant and lively atmosphere as well as listening to live music in the evenings. Many also liked spending time in the picturesque and peaceful courtyard where they could have breakfast or evening drinks.
The rooms have been described as tastefully decorated with quality furniture and upholstery. Guests were pleased with their large beds and quality sheets as well as the luxurious towels and toiletries. Many appreciated the mod-cons in the suites including air-conditioning units and up-to date bathroom fixtures and fittings.
The hotel is situated in the French Quarter meaning that it's close to all the amenities including restaurants, cafes and shops. Guests were pleased to find that they only had a short walk to the local attractions and were pleased to find thatthey didn't have to drive or get public transport.
The front of the hotel looks out onto a busy road and guests whose rooms were located at the front of the building objected to the level of noise from late night revellers which often lasted until the early hours and prevented guests from getting a good night's sleep.
Guests who wanted to connect to the internet from their rooms were disappointed to find that the Wi-Fi signal was very weak and intermittent meaning that many had to log on several times or take their devices nearer the reception area.
Some of the guests mentioned that the size of their rooms did not satisfy their requirements as they were rather small and cramped whilst many also objected to the lack of storage space.
