The hotel is located over the bridge from the centre of Seville, making it an ideal place for exploring the city. The hotel's neighbourhood is much quieter and the area is quite safe, even for solo travellers. It takes 10 minutes to walk to cathedral and bus stops are about 10 minutes away. Plenty of restaurants and shops are nearby for dining options.
Service is friendly, warm and expedient. Visitors cite the polite and welcoming service provided by the staff as striking the right tone.
Guests enjoyed the breakfast buffet that offered fares like fresh fruit, veggies, cheese, cereal and hot dishes. They said the Monte Carmelo had a great variety for breakfast and that it offered good value for guests.
Although the rooms have a kettle to make coffee and tea, the hotel did not provide cups. Guests were confused how they were supposed to drink their hot beverages, because only paper cups were provided. They recommended that the hotel add cups or mugs for the rooms.
While there is onsite parking available, guests said that you're supposed to book parking ahead of time. Otherwise, finding parking on the street can be a struggle, so make sure you reserve before you arrive.
