Morepork Riverside Lodge is a quality B&B set in four acres of native bush and gardens on the banks of the Waitangi River. Morepork Lodge is just 9 minutes from Paihia township and 14 minutes from Kerikeri. Stroll through our native bush & gardens, home to many birds including Fantails, Kingfishers & of course Moreporks (the NZ native owl). You might like to feed our alpacas (Anzac & TimTam) or collect eggs from our Free Range Hens. We also have a short-haired, timid cat (Panpoot). We are both “Kiwi” born & bred and have traveled throughout NZ, the Pacific and some parts of Europe & the USA. We strive to keep NZ 100% Pure and manage our property using organic principles. We hold a TripAdvisor “GreenLeaders – Gold” award. We provide a sumptuous continental breakfast (including fresh fruit, cheese, cold meats and eggs). We can offer a 'night of arrival platters' by prior arrangement. We’ll happily advise you on local attractions and places to dine. We can also book tours for you. Our rooms all have Ensuites, King or Superking/Twin beds, Decks (two private, one shared), free WiFi, TV/DVDs, etc. One room has a small kitchenette, one room has a microwave, and all rooms have tea/coffee/fridge.
