Positive Reviews

Handy location between airport and downtown

The midtown location of this motel gave guests the best of both worlds as it put them about halfway between downtown and the airport. Air passengers loved the complimentary airport shuttle service, which took the hassle out of the short journey to the terminal. Drivers appreciated the free parking and easy access to downtown. Furthermore, there were conveniences like petrol stations, shops and places to eat in the surrounding blocks. Adventurous types liked being able to reach regional skiing areas and national parks with relative ease.

Customer service won praise

Many reviewers said they encountered friendly, professional and welcoming members of staff. Animal owners liked the way pets could stay in selected rooms.

Simple rooms were clean and reasonably-priced

The reportedly simple rooms were short on high-end luxuries but managed to be more than sufficiently clean, tidy and comfortable for a stopover. Budget-minded reviewers were keen on the normally reasonable room rates for the area and felt they got fair bang for their buck.

Negative Reviews

Shortcomings encountered in some rooms

Critics sometimes felt certain rooms were a little too small, especially when fully occupied. Others claimed the no frills format went further than they had hoped, complaining that there were no little extras provided in the rooms like shampoo and conditioner or fridges and microwaves.

Nuisance noise issues reported

Light sleepers were bothered by nuisance noise travelling rather easily from adjacent rooms and corridors from time to time.

Minor cleanliness and maintenance issues

According to several critics, cleanliness and maintenance standards could have been improved in order to tackle issues in certain rooms such as cigarette burns, marked walls, tired-looking bedding and bathrooms that could have been more vigorously cleaned.
