Guests largely felt they got fair value for money as there were competitive rates plus suitably clean and comfortable rooms for the no frills traveler. Perks like the free pets allowed policy and parking were a nice bonus for many reviewers. Moreover, the modernized rooms had plenty of admirers who liked the laminate flooring and updated bathrooms.
Many visitors welcomed the location just off Interstate 15. Motorists liked the convenience of being a ten-minute drive from McCarran International Airport and having gas stations and roadside eateries nearby. It was about one mile from Las Vegas Strip although pedestrian access wasn't straightforward as it was on the other side of the freeway.
Smoky smells in some non-smoking rooms proved to be a nuisance for some visitors. Meanwhile, noise from neighboring rooms was sometimes a nuisance for light sleepers as was the sound of traffic from the freeway.
Critics took issue with cleanliness issues in some rooms. It was occasionally claimed by some guests that there were floors could have been more thoroughly cleaned plus stained linens and towels. A few reviewers claimed to have encountered the odd cockroach. Minor maintenance issues also reared their head with occasional claims of an unreliable hot water supply or broken lighting.
Guests were divided over the Wi-Fi service. Some said it was fairly reliable; others said the signal was sometimes patchy. One thing reviewers agreed on was that they disliked paying extra for accessing the network.
