Situated on the northern edge of Moab, this motel's location proved popular with reviewers in town to explore the surrounding landscapes made famous as backdrops in classic movies. Two stunning national parks were on the doorstep and the motel was conveniently next to US Route 191. Downtown Moab was just over a mile away for dining and shopping but there was also a restaurant nearby. A few guests, however, criticized the location as it wasn't that convenient for walking into town.

Guests said they were often pleased with the customer service, frequently describing personnel as accommodating, likeable and helpful.

Many reviewers were pleasantly surprised by the standards of cleanliness and comfort in the rooms, often saying they would happily return. The modernized rooms with laminate floors and flat-screen TVs had many admirers as did the pleasant outdoor pool and hot-tub.

Light sleepers sometimes blamed insufficient soundproofing for enabling them to hear noises from adjacent rooms and corridors. Occasional road noise and noisy air-conditioning also proved to be obstacles to sleep for some reviewers.

Guests appreciated the provision of free Wi-Fi access, but occasionally it was claimed that the signal was patchy in certain areas of the building.

Reviewers were split over whether their stays represented fair value for money; it often depended on whether or not guests were paying steeper rates to stay during peak periods. When rates were at their most affordable, guests tended to say they got a decent amount of bang for their buck as there were freebies like a pet-friendly policy and expanded cable channels. However, those paying higher rates sometimes bemoaned the lack of services and facilities like breakfast, shampoo and alarm clocks.
