The Motel One Dresden Palaisplatz is a modern looking two star hotel with 228 guest rooms available. It opened in late 2010and all rooms are no smoking. All the guest rooms have features such as flat screen television, air conditioning and a private bathroom with a rain forest shower. There is also free wireless internet available. Children who are younger then 13 year can stay for free when using the existing bedding. There is no room for an extra bed or cot. The hotel lies near the centre of Dresden and there are tram stops nearby with connection to the centre and the Central train station. It is located opposite the Japanisches Palais and the Palaisplatz is 200 metres away. On the ground floor is the lobby, cafeteria and bar where drinks are available such as coffee but also wine and various snacks. There is 24 hours front desk service with checking in possible from 3 p.m. and checking out until 12 p.m. There is underground parking available against costs and pets are allowed at the hotel against charges.
