About Mountaineer Inn

The Mountaineer remains a mountain retreat with friendly, attentive service and delicious meals. Walk to Mount Snow's Sundance lifts and Snow Barn or take the MOOver which stops at our front door. With all the trappings of an authentic ski lodge, there are 25 charming, uniquely decorated guest rooms, each with private bath. A Vermont country breakfast starts your day. We offer a four-course dinner and accommodate children, teens and vegetarians. The fireplaced BYOB bar has a pool table and large-screen TV; enjoy a soothing sauna, or spend quiet time in the library. A 14-person, outdoor hot tub provides a relaxing massage. Our large living room with its immense fireplace is a cozy place to gather to re-live the thrills and spills of a day on the slopes. Welcome reception for all guests on Saturdays and Mondays. All rooms have a 42" flat panel TV with cable including HBO. Summertime finds guests enjoying our 64' heated lap pool surrounded by lovely gardens and gazebo. Golf, fishing and farm packages available. Groups, reunions and weddings welcome.
