NAU Salgados Vila das Lagoas is a beautiful resort on the coast of the Algarve within minutes from the beach and boasts to have seven swimming pools. The en-suite apartments offer spacious accommodation with either one, two or three bedrooms, a balcony, air conditioning and a fully equipped kitchenette. NAU Salgados Vila das Lagoas has so much to offer staying guests with a luxury spa, a pool bar and restaurants, a gym and tennis courts, many pools and free Wi-Fi and parking. As well as the option of eating in, there are many tasty restaurants along the sea front such as Bellavita for Italian, Vila Joya for European or Sao Domingos for Portuguese. The Algarve is a very popular destination offering beautiful sandy beaches which stretch along the coast. There are many things to see and do such as Zoomarine, an array of amazing golf courses, Vilamoura marina, Dolphin watching or a pirate ship cruise.

The reviews all state how well looked after the resort is. The gardens are beautiful, the rooms are well maintained and everything is clean and spotless throughout. Golf buggies take you around the different areas as well as take you to your room when you arrive.
The rooms all have balconies to relax on which are very spacious giving you the option to have breakfast here and enjoy the weather and the view of the beach if you happen to have an apartment on this side of the resort.
The beach is walking distance from the main pools. Many have chosen to stay here due to this reason to give the option of a beach or pool day but also being close to the apartment.
There are negative comments regarding the service and time taken to serve dinner within the restaurants. The staff are a little rude at times and the food is overpriced in comparison to other places people have eaten.
There appears to be a lack of entertainment on an evening for families. Unfortunately there does not appear to be a kids club or anything for adults which means you would need to leave the resort and go elsewhere.
There is a small store on the edge of the resort with everything needed to cook in the rooms however for days out, exploring and going into Albufeira, the resort is a little further out. Guests have mentioned there are no buses and taxi's must be used which aren't cheap.
