The Nomads Cairns Backpackers is a chilled backpackers in Cairns, just north of the city centre, near the entrance to the Cairns Esplanade and the perfect base for a short or long stay in tropical far north Queensland. Dorm beds, both mixed and female only with shared bathrooms are available, as well as a range of private rooms with en-suite bathrooms. Air conditioned and non-smoking rooms include a private locker and linen is provided. The Nomads Cairns Backpackers operates a free shuttle to the airport and parking on-site is free. Nomads Cairns Backpackers has an outdoor pool and games areas which is a popular place for backpackers to relax and unwind. There is also a coin operated laundry. The Cairns International Airport is a ten minute drive from the hostel and it is a 30 minute walk along the esplanade to the famous Cairns Lagoon.
