The Norfolk Arms is a hotel located inside of a beautifully renovated Georgian Coaching Inn in Arundel. The hotel offers 33 individually decorated bedrooms all of which have ensuite bathrooms. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel as well as in all of the bedrooms. The Norfolk Arms also offers free parking to all of its guests. For business oriented guests there are meeting rooms available on-site which can cater for approximately 100 guests. For weddings and other functions dedicated function rooms are available and the in-house events team are able to help with planning and logistics. The on-site Arun Restaurant serves a varied menu and also has a good selection of wines. The hotel bar serves drinks and cocktails for guests who wish to relax. The staff at the Forestdale Norfolk Arms are genuinely helpful and nothing seems to be too much trouble for the staff or manager. The bar and restaurant staff are also genuinely accommodating and do their best to serve well.
The breakfast provided in the morning is good and features a varied selection of breakfast choices. The restaurant on-site serves delicious main courses and tasty deserts. The food is prepared and cooked to a very high standard as well.

The showers are somewhat temperamental and the water temperature is difficult to balance, being either too hot or too cold. As the building itself is very old the plumbing is quite noisy and can be disturbing when used.
The building does not have a lift which is problematic for guests who have lots of luggage. Guests who do not want to walk several flights of stairs to their rooms would do well to ask for a room closer to the ground floor.
