Many guests have been pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of their rooms and the facilities on offer within them. The kitchenette area is useful to allow people to store or reheat food they bring or buy, there is an unlimited DVD rental offer and those rooms facing the ocean offer stunning views.
The heated pool is nice with a spacious sunbathing area around it. Drinks and snacks are served from the Tiki Bar, or guests can opt to use an outdoor barbecue grill to cook their own food.
This is basic accommodation in a great location at a low price. This is the perfect, basic hotel for those on a budget. This hotel is in a good location with the beach just a few steps away and plenty of restaurants, bars and shopping, all within easy access.
Many guests felt that the reality of this hotel was far removed from the photos of it. Many found that it was significantly more run down and in need of repairs than the photos indicate. Others felt the general area wasn't as safe and clean as they assumed from the way the hotel is advertised.
While some found the hotel exceeded their expectations others felt it was in need of major renovations. Some rooms have a general run down feeling and are musty, have rusting window frames and old carpets and furniture. A renovation of the whole building would bring it back up to more modern standards.
There is parking attached to the hotel, however during peak season, it gets full and guests have to find alternative parking. The parking spaces are also very tight, making it difficult to enter and exit.
