Guests liked the location of the hotel in close proximity to Prater amusement park and some museums. Public transportation is available in a five-minute walking distance to explore parts of Vienna which are farther away. The inner city can be reached by a leisurely fifteen minute walk. They described the neighbourhood as residential and quiet.
Guests enjoyed the good size of the deluxe rooms with a private bathroom. They also liked the combination of old and modern reflected in the building and the design of the rooms. The rooms are basic, but offer what you need for a city trip. Guests felt they received a very good value for the money paid.
The front desk staff helped guests with directions to the metro and maps to attractions which guests greatly appreciated. They have been described as friendly and professional. English is spoken well and the staff is very attentive.
Guests who booked the breakfast felt the price for it was too high and the breakfast was not of great variety or quality. Many preferred to have breakfast at one of the cafes.
Guests who stayed here in the summer missed the convenience of having air conditioning, as the rooms get hot. You can open the windows to cool off, but noise is more noticable in that case.
Guests who had a car sometimes had no luck in getting parking at the hotel. The next parking garage is quite a bit away. Some guests parked their cars on the streets, but many of them have parking regulations in this neighbourhood.
