Personnel are professional and pro-active
As well as being extremely prompt at dealing with queries, many travellers have noted that the highly attentive and communicative staff members here are happy to remedy immediate action whenever a negative issue is raised.
Hotel has a very private and intimate vibe
A great many visitors have reported that, because there are only 12 guest rooms, the property as a whole feels more like an intimate, community-minded apartment block than a hotel. Most guests appreciated this very much.
Some rooms are afflicted by street noise
Many visitors who've stayed in the hotel's street-facing rooms have complained about being disturbed by the noisy comings and goings on the ever-busy Kärntnerstrasse below. Rear-facing rooms were deemed much quieter.
Lift isn't the best
It has to be said that very few guests have been enamoured by the old and really rather diminutive lift at this property. Indeed, it's so small that large suitcases tend to ride on their own while their owners takes the stairs.
Property is a little hard to find
A significant number of travellers have said they were left somewhat dumbfounded when they first tried to locate the entrance to the hotel. Helpful guests suggested that aiming for the ‘O' in the ‘ECCO' shop sign is the best approach.
