Oxford Suites Pismo Beach provides high value at affordable prices. Guests found the rooms to be well presented, clean and spacious with separate bedroom and seating areas. If you wish to self cater you can easily do so in the kitchenette which includes a fridge, microwave and dish ware along with tea and coffee making facilities.
The property is located off US-101 and is a short five-minute drive away from the Pismo Beach shoreline. Driving up the freeway you can reach Avila Hot Springs within six-minutes.
The staff are friendly and welcoming as they make every effort to ensure that you feel at home. The complimentary hot buffet breakfast received favorable commentary and provides a great start to your day. The complimentary evening reception also provides a friendly and relaxed atmosphere where you can mingle with other guests.
Due to the location by the highway you may be disturbed by the sound of traffic. Some guests also found that the rooms by the swimming pool were also noisy, and on occasion dogs can be heard whining or barking in the courtyard.
The hotel has been described as run down and in need or updating. A range of issues were reported by various guests, including peeling wallpaper, poorly functioning air conditioning, old and worn furnishings and broken fixtures.
Some guests complained that the rooms smelled unpleasantly, either due to cigarette smoke or stained and smelly carpets particularly in the pet-friendly rooms.
