The Hotel Palladium Hotel is located in the heart of Palma’s shopping district on the Spanish island of Mallorca. Rooms available are single, double or family and have been recently refurbished. The location is ideal as it is well placed to visit everything that Palma has to offer. The historic part of Palma is nearby which is a contrast to the modern shops, bars and restaurants that are also near. Although they are close you are still far enough away to be unaffected by any noise. The beach is a short walk away and transport access is hassle free with regular buses at the bus stop opposite the hotel and taxi services always on hand.
When one guest had her passport and money stolen the staff couldn’t do enough to help. This included phoning the consulate, sorting a room and food and being very supportive.
The breakfast is very healthy and there is always plenty as the plates are constantly topped up by members of staff. Included with the breakfast are lots of fresh fruits, yoghurts, cereals and bread.
Some rooms offered by the hotel don’t have a very good view as they look out at other buildings, furthermore not all rooms have a balcony so it seems to be the luck of the draw with regards to what you get.
Although having air conditioning is a positive aspect it doesn’t always work properly and rooms are still quite hot especially if you leave the room and come back to it as it doesn’t remain switched on. This then means that it takes a while to get to a cooler temperature again.
The hotel doesn’t have a car park, but there are public car parks nearby that you can use. However, it is quite expensive and you can only pay for so many hours at a time so be careful and keep topping it up otherwise you will get a ticket.
