The Payerbacherhof lies at the foot of the Raxalpe mountains and in Payerbach town centre, just under an hour’s drive south of Vienna. Viennese society has been gathering to spend their summer holidays in Payerbach–Reichenau since the turn of the 20th century. This long tradition has left traces that are still felt today at every turn. “Alpentherme light” and De-Luxe Rooms The “Alpentherme light” is equipped with a sauna, bio sauna, Jacuzzi, relaxation zone and a cosy tea and juice bar. The Rax-Region Descending from the precipitous rock walls of the Rax, the landscape ranges from the gentle slopes of the Reichenau valley to the rugged romantic Höllental. The woodland spreads upwards over the idyllic Kreuzberg before petering out on the Semmering. The mountains impress with their beauty, hiking trails and climbing routes of every degree of difficulty, and mountain huts.
