If you have been at the Pelican Cove Resort & Marina before and liked it, then you will simply love it now. The property has received some major upgrades: the rooms now sport a very modern and exciting look.

Guests have been effusive with praise for the hotel's staff which they have described as truly amazing. The bar staff receives top marks for its artistry at mixing those delicious mojitos; housekeeping staff is extremely efficient and professional,.

Guests here hardly ever run out of fun activities to do, especially water sports of every kind. Activities to be enjoyed on-site include basketball, ecotours, fishing, kayaking, motor boating, rowing/canoeing, volleyball, and snorkeling. Activities that can be enjoyed in nearby resorts include golfing, parasailing, scuba diving, windsurfing, and water skiing.

Guests have expressed their displeasure at the hotel's practice of sending service people including plumbers and repair staff to perform repairs when guests are still in the rooms. What's more alarming is that the hotel's staff sometimes gains access to the rooms from the inside.

Some rooms lack basis facilities such as dressers and tables. Some facilities such as refrigerators are rather old and not very efficient at cooling stuff. AC units are too loud while showers run out of hot water too fast.

Although Pelican Cove Resort & Marina does well to provide a free continental breakfast every morning, guests have described the breakfast as paltry and lacking in variety.
