Pine Mountain State Resort Park is just a few miles from Cumberland Gap National Historical Park, where pioneers entered Kentucky in the 1700s. The park overlooks the city of Pineville and has a 30-room lodge, cottages, restaurant and meeting space. A privately operated zip line opened in 2016.
