Guests said the hotel has a fantastic Old Montreal location, close to plenty of restaurants, Chinatown, the Old Port and a few minutes' walk from Notre-Dame Basilica and the Metro.

You will find the staff to be friendly, professional and accommodating from the doormen onwards, there are very good restaurants on site, with matching service, and the rooftop bar is said to have great atmosphere and views.

A small handful of those who stayed at Place-d'Armes found the minibar and bar drinks to be expensive, while a few others were disappointed at the lack of coffee makers in the rooms.
