Though close to a main road, this beach front location provides a quiet and peaceful location to relax in. There are many local cafes, bars and restaurants within easy walking distance, as well as a supermarket, pharmacy and currency exchange service.
Great value with local flavor
Many guests felt that the hotel provides excellent service and facilities at budget-friendly prices. The hotel provides a variety of food options, including Mexican cuisine. Live music entertainment is also offered on some nights. The grounds, including the garden, outdoor pool and picnic area, are beautifully maintained. The rooms are spacious, well presented and clean with the convenience of a fully equipped kitchenette. An on-site supermarket is also convenient for those who wish to self cater.
The staff are friendly, hospitable and helpful, seeking to meet all your needs where possible to ensure you have an enjoyable stay. Guests have also commented that the staff create a welcoming, intimate environment and a sense of family.
Some guests felt that the furnishings needed updating as they were old and outdated. Guests also reported a range of maintenance problems, including that the air conditioning units did not function reliably, at times the hot water runs out, power outages have been known to happen and the Wi-Fi is also difficult to connect to in the rooms. Some guests reported that they were only able to connect to the Wi-Fi in the lobby.
Housekeeping does not seem to provide a reliable service, as many guests complained that the rooms were not cleaned to a high standard, with spider webs, dust and dirt being found in the rooms.
