About Pousada Caniçada - Gerês

The club was founded as a 9 hole course in the 1890s and was extended to its full 18 holes in 1910. The course is 6579 yards in the length, par 73, and is situated about a mile north of the town centre. The course has views across the coastline to St Mary's Island and the lighthouse. The clubhouse has a bar and dining facilities. Light refreshments are also served. The services of the club professional are also available. Casual visitors welcome Price per round £ 30 (with member £ 13) Visiting parties also welcome by prior arrangement with the club secretary. There is free car parking on site
