About Pousada Vila Óbidos

Somewhere between memories of a medieval past and the comforts demanded by modern travellers, the Pousada Vila Óbidos invites you to enjoy a unique experience: spending relaxed and informal days in a traditional 18th century house. This hotel in the village of Óbidos, just 200 metres from the Castle, is the perfect starting point for exploring the charming walled village. Stroll through the medieval streets and enjoy the white façades decorated with flowers, drink a Ginjinha de Óbidos (a local cherry liqueur) and relax in the cosy atmosphere of an authentic Óbidos house! The building of the new Pousada is V-shaped and is the first expansion to Pousada Vila de Óbidos. The second accommodation centre is to be inaugurated shortly is in the old Estalagem do Lidador (Lidador Inn), with 11 new rooms and only 150 metres away.
