Reviewers loved the way there were public transport links on the doorstep, which took the hassle out of getting around London. Many guests commented that it was easy to catch buses or Metropolitan and Piccadilly line tube services towards central London just steps from the hotel. Those using Heathrow Airport also felt the location suited them as this hotel's location was a short car or tube journey from the terminals. Drivers also welcomed the proximity of the M40 and M25. Another bonus was that there were town centre shops and restaurants nearby.
The lack of free on-site parking annoyed many drivers because they faced a lengthier than expected walk to reach the shopping centre multi-storey car park which offered them discounted rates.
The format of the Wi-Fi service disappointed some guests because they faced charges once they exceeded a free 30-minute period.
Light sleepers noted some rooms were exposed to nuisance noise from the nearby bus station. There were also claims that it was difficult to regulate the room temperature. There were also grumbles about small bathrooms, marked walls, stained bedding and musty smells in several rooms.
