Comfortable modern rooms
The rooms are furnished with modern decor in a minimalist style. Both the rooms and bathroom areas are spacious, well presented and are cleaned daily by housekeeping. The beds are clean and the location quiet. Some rooms also offer a nice view of the distant mountains, the city and the Church of St. Roch.
Short walk to city attractions
The hotel is located within walking distance of Old Quebec, about 15-minutes to the city centre and attractions.
The staff are friendly, courteous and helpful. Assistance is provided where possible and staff will gladly make recommendations for local attractions or restaurants as well as directions on how to get there.
Expensive parking and breakfast
Many guests felt that the price of parking was very expensive. Breakfast is also offered at an additional charge though some guests felt that the poor offering was not worth the price charged.
Sparsely furnished rooms
Not all guests enjoyed the simple decor and felt that the minimalist design was un-welcoming and impractical as there was insufficient storage room for clothing and luggage. The lighting in the bathroom is a little dark, and some guests experienced the air conditioning to be noisy. The standard of cleanliness is low at times as the rooms do not appear to be thoroughly cleaned, according to some guests.
Poor customer service
At times the staff are unfriendly and unresponsive to the needs of guests, according to reviews. Apparently staff can seem indifferent to the needs of guests and seem reluctant to provide assistance. It's also advisable to check your hotel bill before checking out as overcharging mistakes have been known to happen.
