Ten minutes from the airport, right by the Interstate turn of, and within an easy stroll of numerous eateries and local amenities; this hotel’s location has everything a road-tripper and/or air passenger might possibly need for an overnight stop.
Although it’s administrated in quite a laid-back way, it is evident that the shuttle service here is every bit as effectual and punctual as you’d hope it to be. Waiting time between the call you make to the hotel after landing and the time the shuttle bus turns up? Seven minutes. How good is that?
If you’re fortunate enough to stay here in the summer months then by all means make the most of the outdoor pool. As well as being a fair size, it's located in a bordered courtyard area surrounded by lawns, a feature which makes it feel pleasantly private and relaxed.
It is fair to say that a great many visitors have been left distinctly unimpressed by the somewhat shabby state of the hotel’s interior spaces. Grubby carpets, saggy ceilings and damaged/broken fittings are just a few of the issues in need of action. Happily, an update is on the cards.
It seems a bit of an oversight for a hotel operating within this niche (i.e. as a stopover for air passengers) to not have any elevators whatsoever on the premises. Something to keep in mind if you’re in the habit of traveling with plenty of luggage…
It is an unfortunate fact that maintaining a Wi-Fi signal here really isn’t an easy thing to do. Frustrating… and then some!
