The modern rooms are well furnished and equipped and contain all you’ll need whether on a business or leisure trip. There’s a flat screen TV with cable channels and free Wi-Fi, so you can be entertained, informed and connected, as well as all the usual practical amenities. Business travelers will appreciate the onsite business center and perhaps also the fitness center, where they can continue their workout routine uninterrupted. All will find ample free parking out front. A complimentary continental breakfast is served every morning. There are a couple of restaurants in the area for the other two meals, including Mr Big’s Sports Grill, a great place for a relaxed pub meal. Downtown Washington, PA is approximately four miles to the north.
The biggest compliment guests gave the hotel was that an incredible number mentioned in their review that they would have no hesitation staying at the hotel again if circumstances resulted in a need for another stay in the area. They were clearly happy with their stay.
Again and again guests would mention that there was simply no room for improvement when it came to cleanliness. Both their room and the pubic areas of the hotel were said to have been kept spotlessly clean for the duration of their visit.
Guests liked the hotel’s location for two reasons. Firstly, the proximity to the interstate meant that it was easy to find initially and convenient for when they were ready to head off to their destination for the day. Secondly, many commented that it was pretty close to the casino, which was a popular night time attraction.
Unfortunately, the convenient location by the interstate did not come without a price. Guests in rooms facing the highway mentioned that they could definitely hear the sound of cars passing by. Light sleepers said that this noise did adversely affect the quality of their sleep.
Guests mentioned that the fitness center was simply not sufficiently equipped to allow them to really get a good workout. They said it had a limited number of machines, allowing for only a limited range of exercise options. Also, no more than a couple of people could exercise at the same time.
Many guests found the breakfast just a bit too basic for their tastes. It was a simple continental breakfast, but they would have preferred a fully cooked meal to start their day.
