Quinta Do Mel's guests speak well of the breakfast and overall food served at the on-site restaurant. They have tasted great sandwiches, 'tapas', cakes, best tasting coffee, as well as other local produce. Moreover, all these foods are served with a warm smile which totally add up to a great experience.
Despite having a countryside atmosphere, the guests are impressed with the location of the hotel as it is situated just right outside Albufeira. It offers peaceful accommodations away from the hustles and bustles of the city but close enough to the supermarkets and the beach.
Guests enjoyed the extremely fast and strong Internet signal available on-site. It is not just accessible at common areas such as pool or lobby, but also inside the rooms. The Internet performance was truly remarkable and had made such a great impact on guests' overall stay.
Some guests were disappointed with the slow service of the restaurant staff and waitresses. The orders were also served a little longer than expected which left a negative impact on some guests who were already starving at the moment.
Despite having a large pool offering a nice view of the area, some guests were still uncomfortable with the cold pool water temperature especially during the cold season. The lack of enough heating system of the pool even during summer time made it quite impossible for guests to take a plunge.
Guests are a little unsatisfied with the quality of the mattresses or beds used inside the rooms. They were too firm and hard so it was quite painful to the back. As a result, some guests were not able to get some decent sleep.
