Hotel Radisson Resort Plaza Skiathos (Kanapitsa, Greece)

The proximity to Kanapitsa Beach was by far what guests most enjoyed about Plaza Skiathos. The beach is described as lovely and secluded, with not too many crowds, and only a minute or two from the hotel on foot. Also mentioned was the view. Since the hotel is at a bit of an elevation it is particularly good.

While opinions were inevitably mixed, the majority definitely gave the breakfast buffet offered by the hotel the thumbs up. Most described it as varied, presented well, and enough to keep them going until lunch.

Despite being relatively quiet, guests mentioned that there was a wide range of watersports available. Some suggest renting a boat in order to be able to visit the surrounding areas.

This was by far the major complaint against the hotel. Many guests describe the décor and furnishings as both out of date, and also showing excessive signs of wear and tear. In their minds both the rooms and public areas are in major need of renovation.

While unfortunately not unusual at many hotels, a couple of guests complained that their requested double bed was merely two singles pushed together. They found this most uncomfortable, and nothing like an actual double bed.

There were unfortunately a fair number of guests who complained about mould in their bathrooms. While general complaints about cleanliness were not common, it seems that many were not happy with the state of their bathroom.
