Titanic Museum and Hollywood Wax Museum is just a short walk from the hotel. Guests may visit few of the shows in town and tourist spots like Dollywood, Memories Theatre and Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies, which are also located in close vicinity.
With cordial and helpful staff around, guest felt completely at home with all the little help or information needed. Excellent guest-service is one of the major good points of Ramada Pigeon Forge North which many guests mentioned.
Guests loved the continental breakfast which had a good selection featuring items like eggs, sausage, fruits, waffles and other typical breakfast items. Even the breakfast space is very open and roomy.
The hotel being an old building looks a bit dated and tired. The rooms have poor soundproofing, dated furniture, and a lot of deferred maintenance in the bathroom are some of the minor issues. Though the room facilities are adequate, décor is a bit tired and hotel interiors need uplift.
The hotel doesn't have adequate facilities to accommodate people with limited mobility and few features maybe added to make it friendly for them. More than one elevator, recliner in the rooms and more walk in showers would have made it easier.
A few guests reported problems with hard beds and mattresses as they are not comfortable for a good night's sleep. Guests with back problem didn't like the hard bedding.
