Hotel Reavers Lodge (Queenstown, New Zealand)

Guests report it's only a short walk into the heart of Queenstown and this means numerous shops, clubs and restaurants are easily accessible.

Guests love the views from this hotel. The Remarkables mountain range provides a wonderful backdrop and the whole setting is a great place to spend some time.

On the whole, guests feel that this hotel offers value for money. The room rates are among the lowest in Queenstown and guests are content with the standard of accommodation which is generally clean and comfortable.

Unfortunately, this hotel does suffer from a degree of noise disturbance. Guests report that because this hotel is made from wood, it means that the walls are thin and poor at keeping noise out. The floors too make a noise when people walk on them and it's often difficult to get a restful night's sleep. There is a curfew from 10pm which aims to cut the noise down but it's not clear how well this works.

The en-suite bathroom facilities come in for some criticism. Guests feel that they are too small and challenging to use. Even more frustrating is the fact that the showers are very inconsistent with too little water pressure to shower effectively. The water temperature is often too cold as well.

Guests aren't very impressed with the provision of Wi-Fi at this hotel which is available in public areas for an extra fee. They mention that due to a weak signal it can be a challenge to connect to and sometimes doesn't work at all during busy periods.
