Checkin is pretty straightforward. The front desk staff are very accommodating and friendly. Helpful too; they'll even accept your take-away food order in your absence.
Rooms are obviously clean so they don't need any excessive air freshener which, quite often, is worse than the smell it is trying to camouflage. Beds are comfortable with no 'dips'. Parking is free and the WiFi, very good.
Rooms aren't very clean. They have that pungent smell of dampness and mold, carpets haven't been cleaned in ages, there's an obvious lack of towel stock, bedding is stained .. and the shower contains hair from previous guests.
The area isn't very attractive and at night, groups congregate in worrying style by the gas station. They could be discussing the weather but it seems unlikely. The atmosphere is quite menacing.
A rusty bath tub and uncleaned surfaces feature in a lengthy list of faults. Outside is no better with damaging potholes in the car park area and the rear of the property which is prone to extensive flooding. This can't help the problem of damp inside the building.
