Surprisingly, there are plenty of things to do in and near the city. Firstly, the hotel is close to the highway, which is easy to get on and off. There is a popular zoo, museums, and nearby decent restaurants. The parks are lovely and if you love to fish, you will find that too. A Kroger supermarket is across the street and a nice family restaurant is a few feet from the hotel. The surroundings are interesting if you take the time to explore.
The hotel is convenient in a couple of ways. The lower part is designed like a motel and you can literally park your car right in front of your room. The upper part is more like a hotel and great if you prefer a bit more privacy.
